THOUSANDS of monster hunters planning to swamp Loch Ness have sparked a safety warning.
About 18,000 have signed up to “storm” the Scottish loch to try to find the fabled Nessie.

It follows an online move to descend on the Area 51 US military base which conspiracy theorists say holds alien tech.
But the RNLI says the 230m-deep loch’s 6C waters could cause cold shock and hypothermia.
“With no US Army involved, Loch Ness looks a little less hazardous than storming Area 51, but here we have our own set of problems,” the RNLI team said on Facebook.
“Our Atlantic 85 lifeboat has an impressive survivor-carrying capacity, but even that will be stretched by the ‘attendees’ of this event.”
The statement said that “joking aside”, there were some facts to share about the water mass, including that it is deep to an equivalent of the height of nearly two-and-a-half Big Ben’s.
Loch Ness RNLI crew signed off its Facebook warning with: “Nessie 1 — 0 Bandwagon.”
